Give

The church asks for your pledge–an estimate of how much you will give–for 2023. This allows us as a community to set a budget to fulfill our mission.

Our church is strong and even stronger with the contributions of its members and friends. As many of you have asked, we made it easier to give online too! We appreciate your donations. All online donations are securely processed through Tithely.

Offerings and tithes may also be delivered to the First Church office. If you would like a visit to follow up or discuss a gift, please call the church office.

The First Church Trustees welcome your planned giving as well, and are glad to converse with you about including First Church in your will.

Donations of gifts of securities and appreciated stocks are most welcome. Please email us and the Trustees will be in touch.

Gifts in memory of loved ones are a lovely way to remember a dear one who has died, and a plaque is installed in the front hall of the church with the name of the person to be memorialized. These gifts become a part of the permanent trust of the church.  Gifts in this form of a memorial can be arranged online (use the button above), or mailed to the Memorials Committee at the church’s address.

To donate flowers for the altar, contact Margaret Newsome, Altar Guild chair, to find an available date. Gordon’s Florist supplies the arrangement and will mail you a bill for $35 plus tax. You can call Gordon’s to make a special request such as color or a more expensive arrangement. You are welcome to take the flowers home after the service, or leave them to be delivered to a friend of the congregation.

To donate to light the steeple for a month, contact the church office. Donate an amount of your choice. The donation may be done in someone’s honor or memory.
